Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the rules and guidelines for using the BevSync platform. By accessing or using BevSync, you agree to comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

2. Permitted Use

BevSync is designed for legitimate beverage inventory management, ordering, cost tracking, and reporting by bars, restaurants, and hospitality businesses. You may use the platform to:

  • Manage product inventories and par levels
  • Track and compare distributor pricing
  • Record and manage brand deals and rebates
  • Generate cost, variance, and performance reports
  • Integrate with supported POS systems for sales data
  • Collaborate with team members within your organization

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use BevSync to:

  • Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation, including alcohol licensing and distribution laws
  • Upload, store, or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or alter computer systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or any BevSync systems or networks
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from BevSync for purposes other than your own legitimate business use
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any organization
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited communications (spam) to other users
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the BevSync software
  • Share your account credentials with anyone outside your organization

4. Data Integrity

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into BevSync. Deliberately entering false inventory counts, fabricated pricing, or misleading brand deal information undermines the integrity of the platform for your organization.

5. Rate Limits and Fair Use

BevSync applies rate limits to API calls and POS sync operations to ensure equitable access for all users. Excessive automated requests that degrade service for other users may result in temporary access restrictions.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or other users.

7. Reporting Violations

If you believe a user is violating this policy, please report it to support@bevsync.net. All reports are reviewed promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email.
